Frequently Asked Questions

Is there any local support available for my family?

The FASD UK Alliance is a coalition of independent groups across the UK who provide local, regional and national support. National FASD is a sister organisation in the Alliance. In addition, FASD UK is a closed Facebook Support Group for those with FASD and their families. There are more than 2,700 families in the group. Leaders of some of the FASD UK Alliance groups serve as co-administrators, pooling the experience and expertise of thousands. National FASD’s chief executive serves as a co-administrator on the group.  In addition, in England you can google your area’s “local offer” for a listing of the local SEND support and resources available. Many groups exist to support those with neurodevelopmental conditions and other related conditions. Tap into whatever support is available and help educate them about FASD if they don’t know about it.
