Supporting a loved one

Supporting a loved one with FASD is a journey full of ups and downs and moments of discovery. Every person with FASD and every family with FASD is different. What we all share is a hope for brighter tomorrows for our loved ones. The first steps include understanding the brain-based nature of FASD, appreciating it is a whole-body diagnosis and advocating for diagnoses and FASD-informed support. It might sound like a cliché when lives can be fast and chaotic, but focusing on wellbeing is key. #YouAreNotAlone
