National search underway for additional trustees - could this be you?
The National Organisation is recruiting! We are looking for new trustees to join our board at this pivotal time for the organisation to help us continue to raise awareness of the risks of prenatal alcohol exposure and to encourage support, diagnosis and wellbeing for people with FASD and their families.
The current challenging landscape for health, education, social care and support for those with disabilities makes the work of National FASD even more important than ever before.
Our trustees come from a variety of backgrounds and bring their skills and experience to help our small charity fulfill its big mission. Please let us know if you think this could be you!
Message from our acting chair
Acting Chair Alasdair Bovaird says, “The policy and financial environment is challenging but the rewards of being involved in this vital area of work are real: the opportunity to bring skills, knowledge and experience developed in a professional environment on a voluntary basis and the understanding that your work is contributing directly to the wellbeing of an under-served and misunderstood group of children, young people, adults and families is priceless. I would recommend it to anybody.”
