Studies show more people have FASD than autism. They are often the students for whom traditional strategies are not working because their brain damage due to prenatal alcohol exposure is not being recognised or appropriately supported. Is your school or college providing materials to develop their positive self-image and promoting FASD-informed coping strategies? The time is now to supplement your resources. Recent policy changes mean you will see more and more with FASD as all major public health bodies are now emphasising the importance of diagnosis and informed support. Most people with FASD are undiagnosed and unsupported. You can change that.
